Fort McMurray  — Wood Buffalo RCMP conducts drug investigations, suspects facing charges

On May 10, 2024, at approximately 4:30 a.m., Wood Buffalo RCMP conducted a traffic stop in the area of Thickwood Boulevard. A search of the vehicle was conducted and as a result, over an ounce of suspected fentanyl was located and seized along with other drug paraphernalia. Two vehicle occupants were subsequently arrested without incident. A 38-year-old individual, a resident of Fort McMurray, is facing a number of charges:
