Southern Alberta — Cochrane Crime Reduction Unit charge three for numerous golf course break and enters Monday 12 February 2024 03:15 PM UTC+00 | Tags: alberta Various RCMP detachments in Southern Alberta District have been investigating a spree of break and enters, which occurred in January and February to golf courses and other businesses in several counties surrounding Calgary. Cochrane Crime Reduction Unit was assigned the investigation on Jan. 30, 2024. Investigation identified a male and female who were believed to be responsible for the crimes and a suspect vehicle, a Volkswagen Jetta, was identified. Tags:

Okotoks — Okotoks RCMP investigate shooting Friday 09 February 2024 03:30 PM UTC+00 | Tags: alberta On Feb. 8, 2024, at approximately 9:34 p.m., Okotoks RCMP were dispatched to a report of multiple shots fired at a residence on Crystal Shores Drive in Okotoks. Witnesses reported that immediately after the shooting, two suspects were seen running from the residence, and they departed the scene in what was believed to be a Toyota Highlander. A visitor at the residence received injuries as a result of the shooting, which are reported as being non-life threatening. Tags:

Fort McMurray — Wood Buffalo RCMP seeks assistance in identifying suspects Thursday 08 February 2024 03:30 PM UTC+00 | Tags: alberta On Feb. 6, 2024, at 6:40 p.m., Wood Buffalo RCMP received a report of a theft from a liquor store on Thickwood Boulevard in Fort McMurray. Three unknown suspects entered into the business and were observed taking approximately $800.00 worth of items from the store. The suspects then exited the business and fled in an unknown direction. At 7:45 p.m., some of the same suspects entered a liquor store on Riverstone Ridge and were observed taking approximately $800.00 worth of items. The suspects then departed in a grey 2017 Ford F150. Fort McMurray — Wood Buffalo RCMP request assistance to identify suspect in fraud Tuesday 06 February 2024 03:30 PM UTC+00 | Tags: alberta Wood Buffalo RCMP are requesting the public's assistance in identifying a suspect in an identity fraud. On Jan. 1, 2024, RCMP were contacted by a victim, residing in another province, who had been a victim of identity theft. On Dec. 30, 2023, an unknown suspect attended the Bell Store in the Peter Pond mall in Fort McMurray. The suspect purchased an Apple iPhone 15, valued at $1,448, using the victim's identity. The suspect produced what appeared to be valid identification before making the fraudulent purchase in the victim's name. Tags:
