Wetaskiwin — Wetaskiwin Crime Reduction Unit execute drug-related search warrants

Wetaskiwin Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) began an investigation on drug trafficking within the community in January 2024. On March 21, 2024, Wetaskiwin CRU executed two search warrants resulting in the seizure of: 450 grams of methamphetamine; 56 grams of cocaine; Six grams of crack; and Canadian currency. As a result of the investigation a 54-year-old individual, a resident of Wetaskiwin, has been charged with:
