The deceased was identified as Leduc County resident 36-year-old Darryl Lloyd Richards. As a result of the investigation, Alberta RCMP have charged a 33-year-old individual with manslaughter and break and enter. The individual was taken before a justice of the peace and remanded into custody with a next court date set for Sept. 26, 2024, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Leduc, Alta.
