Lloydminster — Lloydminster RCMP advise public of heavy police presence – Update 3 Thursday 12 September 2024 01:15 PM UTC+00 | Tags: alberta On Sept. 11, 2024, at approximately 5:51 p.m., Lloydminster RCMP were called to a residence in the vicinity of 50 Street and 47 Avenue for a well-being check. Upon entering the residence, officers located three deceased individuals. While we cannot confirm their identities, the cause of death, or other investigative details, at this time, it appears that this was a targeted and isolated incident. Calmar — Alberta RCMP Major Crimes investigate a suspicious death involving a firearm and seeking public assistance - Update #2 Wednesday 11 September 2024 01:15 PM UTC+00 | Tags: alberta Alberta RCMP have laid charges in connection with the Jan. 9, 2022, shooting death of a man in Calmar. The deceased was identified as Leduc County resident 36-year-old Darryl Lloyd Richards. As a result of the investigation, Alberta RCMP have charged a 33-year-old individual with manslaughter and break and enter. The individual was taken before a justice of the peace and remanded into custody with a next court date set for Sept. 26, 2024, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Leduc, Alta.
