Fort McMurray — Alberta RCMP officer involved in shooting in Fort McMurray Thursday 12 December 2024 02:15 PM UTC+00 | Tags: alberta On Dec. 12, 2024, at 5:32 p.m., Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to a disturbance at a residence on Siltstone Place in Fort McMurray. Officers attended, and while ensuring that everyone was safe in the residence, an altercation ensued, and an officer was attacked. As a result, the officer discharged their service weapon. The suspect suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital. One officer received minor injuries as a result of the altercation. Tags:
