The Municipality of Jasper is downgrading its evacuation order to an evacuation alert for the Town of Jasper. Jasper National Park remains closed. Area: (This alert is in effect for everyone located in the Town of Jasper.) |

Update 42: Alberta wildfire information update (Aug. 15, 3:30 p.m.) Friday 16 August 2024 01:22 AM UTC+00 The Canadian Red Cross is providing an additional $500 in one-time financial assistance for residents of Jasper. This additional support will help with ongoing needs such as food, transportation or clean-up supplies as people begin returning home. |
Update 43: Alberta wildfire information update (Aug. 16, 3:30 p.m.) Friday 16 August 2024 10:07 PM UTC+00 An evacuation order for the Municipality of Jasper has been downgraded to an evacuation alert as residents begin to return home today. Jasper National Park remains closed at this time. Re-entry to the Town is restricted to residents only. |
