St. Albert — St. Albert RCMP investigate stabbing – Update #3

On July 18, 2024, at approximately 10 p.m., St. Albert RCMP was dispatched to a complaint of a male hurting a female at a residence. Upon arrival, two females, aged 13 and 17, were located inside the residence with multiple stab wounds. Investigation revealed that the person believed to be responsible was a 28-year-old individual was known to the victims.

Lloydminster — Lloydminster RCMP arrest and charge two males for firearms offences

On July 17, 2024, at 3:30 p.m., Lloydminster RCMP were called to assist Lloydminster Community Peace Officers who had conducted a traffic stop on 50 Avenue and 57 Street in Lloydminster. Both the driver and the passenger of the vehicle were wanted on warrants and were subsequently arrested. Upon further investigation, a homemade shotgun and ammunition was located within the vehicle. A 54-year-old individual and a 34-year-old individual, both residents of Edmonton, were arrested and charged with multiple criminal code offences, some of which include:

Red Deer — Red Deer RCMP make arrests following the execution of search warrant

On July 3, 2024, officers from Red Deer RCMP Crime Reduction Team (CRT), with assistance from Red Deer RCMP General Investigation Section (GIS), Police Dog Services (PDS) and Wetaskiwin RCMP, successfully executed a search warrant at a residence located in the South Hill area of Red Deer. This operation led to the recovery of multiple items believed to be obtained through criminal activity. Among the recovered items were a significant quantity of cannabis products, firearms, ammunition, body armour and a collection of valuable hockey card collectibles.

Slave Lake — Slave Lake RCMP General Investigation Section lay charges in drug trafficking investigation

On July 19, 2024, Slave Lake General Investigation Section, the Slave Lake RCMP, Faust RCMP, Lakeshore Regional Police Service and the Alberta RCMP Roving Traffic Unit North with the assistance of a Narcotic Detection Dog, executed a search warrant on a residence which concluded a 7-month long investigation on a suspected drug house in the southwest quadrant of Slave Lake.
