Edmonton — Alberta RCMP reminds motorists to "Click it or ticket!"

Wearing a seatbelt remains one of the easiest and most effective ways to protect yourself and others in a motor vehicle collision. Proper use of a safety restraint can significantly reduce the risk of serious injury and harm, and can even be the difference between life and death in the event of a collision. Last year Alberta RCMP handed out 4,401 seatbelt related infractions. Alberta RCMP encourages motorists and passengers to practice the following safety precautions:
