Rocky View County — Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit investigate homicide in Rocky View County - Update

On April 3, 2024, the Tsuut'ina Nation Fire Department responded to a grass fire near Range Road 40 and Township Road 241 in Rocky View County. While they were extinguishing the fire, human remains were located. The Alberta RCMP Major Crime Unit was subsequently notified and deployed to take carriage of the investigation. An autopsy was completed at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Calgary on April 4, 2024. The death is being investigated as a homicide.
