Sherwood Park — Strathcona County RCMP Crime Reduction Unit proactive patrol leads to two arrests

On Oct. 5, 2024, at approximately 12:47 a.m., members of the Strathcona County RCMP Crime Reduction Unit were conducting proactive patrols in the area of Pembina Road when they engaged in a traffic stop with a suspicious vehicle. During the police interaction with the occupants of the vehicle, officers observed the driver hiding a small bag in the vehicle. Both occupants were arrested.
