Edmonton — Alberta RCMP promotes Parachute Canada's Youth Road Safety Week

Edmonton, Alta. – From October 20 to 26, Alberta RCMP is helping to promote road safety for all youth road users. The annual campaign aims to increase road safety awareness in youth ages 15 to 24. This year's campaign theme is #OurFutureRoads, focusing on empowering youth to shape the roadway systems being built today to ensure everyone can travel safely. Road crashes are the third-leading cause of death among young people aged 15 to 24 in Canada, for this reason it is vital to ensure youth are part of the safety conversation.
