Hardisty — Killam RCMP charge female with attempted murder

On Jan. 27, 2024, Killam RCMP was dispatched to a reported shooting in Hardisty. Upon arrival, members located a male with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. The male was transported by ambulance to a hospital in Edmonton where he remains in critical condition. As a result of the investigation, which was assisted by Forensic Identification Services and Eastern Alberta District General Investigation Section, a 42-year-old individual was charged with several offences, including:
