Edson — Edson RCMP charge male with attempted murder

On Jan. 24, 2024, at 2 a.m., Edson RCMP responded to a complaint of a disturbance at a local residence. Upon arrival, it was determined that two people were injured, and both were transported by EMS to a local hospital. They have since been released from the hospital. An investigation ensued and, as a result, a 64-year-old individual, a resident of Edson, was arrested and charged with attempted murder.
