Lamont County — Fort Saskatchewan RCMP lay several charges following stolen property investigation

In October 2023, Fort Saskatchewan RCMP Traffic/Crime Reduction Unit (TCRU) located a stolen vehicle with a stolen firearm inside, on 48 Avenue in Bruderheim, Alta. Due to the increase of rural crime, an investigation was launched to determine the person(s) responsible. As a result of the lengthy investigation, on Feb. 22, 2024, Fort Saskatchewan RCMP TCRU arrested a resident of Lamont County on several charges. A 34-year-old individual has been charged with:
