On April 10, 2024, at approximately 8 a.m., officers of the Camrose Police Service, while investigating a report of theft of fuel, observed a suspicious Ford F350. As the officer turned around to catch up to the suspect vehicle, it immediately fled at a high rate of speed. Officers were able to maintain a visual and observed the truck as it stopped along a tree line on Range Road 210 and Township road 472. Camrose Police set up containment in the area and asked the RCMP for assistance.
