At 7:41 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time Monday, Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for South Central Alberta. Extra care and attention should be exercised in and around the following localities: Airdrie, Crossfield, Calgary, Bottrel and Cochrane. Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a very dangerous thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to baseball size hail and heavy rain. The following localities are included in the warning: Brooks, Strathmore, Vulcan, Airdrie, Cochrane, Olds, Sundre, Calgary, Drumheller and Three Hills. Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a very dangerous thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to baseball size hail and heavy rain. Area: (Rocky View Co. near Airdrie and Crossfield, Rocky View Co. near Irricana Beiseker and Kathyrn, City of Calgary, Rocky View Co. near Chestermere Dalroy and Dalemead)

Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a very dangerous thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, baseball size or greater hail and torrential rain. Area: (Foothills Co. near Blackie, Vulcan Co. near Arrowwood Herronton and Queenstown, Vulcan Co. near Vulcan and Ensign)
There are 2 armed and extremely dangerous suspects in the area of Highway 564 and Range Road 252. Area: (This alert is in effect for Wheatland County.)
The immediate areas have been cleared, but the suspects remain at large. The investigation remains underway. Area: (The shelter in place order for Wheatland County is no longer in effect.)
