Gift Lake Metis Settlement — Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit investigate homicide in Gift Lake Metis Settlement

On August 23, 2024, at approximately 2:00 a.m., High Prairie RCMP responded to a call of an unresponsive male in a vehicle. Upon their arrival, the male was deceased having injuries consistent with a gun shot wound. Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit were called and have taken carriage of the investigation. RCMP have determined the victim to be 41-year-old Gift Lake Metis Settlement resident, Bradley Lamouche.
