Warburg — Thorsby RCMP arrest male after several serious violent incidents in Warburg

On Aug. 20, 2024, at 7:44 p.m., Thorsby RCMP received a report of stabbing that occurred on 54 Avenue in Warburg. Upon arrival, emergency workers tended to the victim who had several serious injures. The victim was taken to hospital where they are expected to recover. While officers were assisting the victim, they were approached by an aggressive individual who police soon learned was their suspect in the stabbing. The suspect was quickly arrested. During the arrest, the suspect spat on officers.
