Westlock — Westlock RCMP investigate aggravated assault

On Sept. 7, 2024, at 9:15 p.m., Westlock RCMP received a report of an aggravated assault near Long Island Lake, located north of Westlock. Upon arrival, emergency crews tended to the female victim who was transported to hospital with serious life-threatening injuries. Westlock RCMP supported by the Eastern Alberta General Investigations Unit continue to investigate.
