Strathcona County — Strathcona County RCMP seize drugs following a traffic stop

On Aug. 8, 2024, at approximately 10:45 p.m., Strathcona County RCMP Crime Reduction Unit pulled over a vehicle on Emerald Drive following a traffic offence. While speaking to the driver, the member observed contraband cigarettes in the vehicle, and the male was arrested. The vehicle was searched and was found to contain 59.53 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 3.50 grams of suspected cocaine, cane with hidden blade, and Canadian currency.
