Southern Alberta  — RCMP Southern Alberta District Crime Reduction Unit execute three search warrants to nab tire thief

In August of 2024, RCMP Southern Alberta District Crime Reduction Unit (SAD CRU), in partnership with Lethbridge Police Service Property Crime Unit, entered into an investigation into fraudulent credit card purchases of BF Goodrich K02 tires. Six businesses in Southern Alberta received phone or online orders of BF Goodrich K02 275/60/R20 tires. An order of 8-12 tires would be purchased, and a male would pick them up the next day in a U-Haul van.
