Spruce Grove — Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit investigates homicide at the Edmonton Corn Maze - Update

Alberta RCMP have laid charges in connection with the murder of a male at the Edmonton Corn Maze on Aug. 27, 2024, near Spruce Grove. The victim has been identified as 53-year-old Joseph Farnsworth. RCMP have charged a 41-year-old individual with second-degree murder. The individual was taken before a justice of the peace and remanded into custody with a next court date set for Sept. 4, 2024, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Stony Plain, Alta.
